Third annual Library Card Drive: Oct. 1 - 31, 2009
Thank you for participating in Pierce County Library System's third annual card drive. Current count is 8,117 people with new library cards. You may still get a free library card, and join others in having:
- Free access to books, movies, music, audiobooks and more.
- Free online help with homework and getting a job.
Get a free Pierce County Library System card!
Winners of the drawings will soon receive the prizes below:
- Get your free card at any of 17 library locations or three bookmobiles and enter to win a laptop computer or set of earbuds, gifts from Pierce County Library Foundation.*
- If you already have a card, bring a friend and sign them up for a card and you may enter the drawing, too!
- You can also get a card online.
- If you haven’t used your card in two years, it is no longer active, so get one now.
* Pierce County Library staff and family members are not eligible to enter the drawing. The drawing will be held Nov. 4, 2009. Entrants do not need to be present to win.

Who can get a card?
You are eligible for a free library card if you live or own property in unincorporated Pierce County or a city or town annexed to Pierce County Library System – Bonney Lake, Buckley, DuPont, Eatonville, Edgewood, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Milton, Orting, South Prairie, Steilacoom, Sumner, University Place or Wilkeson – or you live on a military base within Pierce County.
If you live in Puyallup or Tacoma, you may also get a free card through borrowing agreements between the libraries.
